Gary has a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, and has been in practice since 2012.
He offers compassionate help to adults and adolescents experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, anger issues, and various emotional/relational difficulties. He also assists those dealing with marital or family conflict. Modes of help are chosen to suit one’s particular problem and personality. Techniques at odds with a Christian/Biblical worldview will not be utilized. Upon request, Gary offers counseling from a faith-based, Christian perspective. Gary is a member of The American Christian Counselors Association and the Maine Mental Health Counseling Association.
Additionally, Gary has been trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy, a proven effective treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder for military and civilians alike.
